Job summary

FOX Sports is seeking a hands-on Remote Engineering & Operations professional to advance a portfolio of live production technology initiatives. You will test on-site, write specifications, chase vendors to decisions, and ensure milestones are met so projects ship on air across NFL, MLB, College Football, NASCAR, and International Soccer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in broadcast or live production engineering, with at least one or two leading projects or people.
• Hands-on capability across IP video infrastructure (ST 2110, JPEG XS), RF and wireless camera systems, transmission, and remote production workflows.
• Judgment to work with senior technical colleagues and meet dates.
• Comfort working in a union environment.
• Written communication strong enough to drive status updates.

Responsibilities

• Drive active technical initiatives to their milestones with on-site testing and vendor coordination.
• Escalate calls needing executive judgment to keep projects moving.
• Produce specifications, equipment lists, and build calendars early for procurement and lead times.
• Support capital projects from requirements through commissioning with integration and procurement teams.
• Document and enforce engineering standards as directed by leadership.
• Capture exceptions and raise them to protect standards.
• Own portfolio status reports and surface stalled initiatives.
• Coordinate with information security for Field Operations dashboards and remediation.
