Job description

A family of soon-to-be-five, in Brooklyn, needs to hire a part-time Nanny to assist with their two youngest children, one infant (coming early fall 2025) and an active toddler. The majority of the care will be for the toddler after school. Responsibilities include:

1. School pick-up and escorting to afterschool activities
2. Monitoring naps
3. Assisting with errands (e.g., grocery shopping)
4. Child-related laundry and upkeep
5. Basic infant care, such as diapering and feeding
6. Preparing meals for the child

The candidate must be comfortable working in a home with pets and be up to date on vaccines. The ideal schedule is weekday afternoons, around 12-5 or 6 pm, with flexibility to trade a Tuesday or Wednesday for some weekend assistance. Salary range: $35-40/hr. The start date is flexible, no later than September.
