Part-Time Nanny Position – 9-Month-Old Baby Girl

We are seeking an experienced, loving, responsible, and active nanny to care for our 9-month-old daughter 3 days a week (can be somewhat flexible with days and times). We are looking for a live-out nanny, with the possibility of overnights or travel in the future. We would love for someone filling this position to stay with our family long-term and potentially expand hours and responsibilities in the future.

Location: Fairfield, CT (Live-out position)
Schedule:

• 3 days a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday flex

• Hours: 8:00 am-1 pm OR 8:30 am-1:30 pm OR 9 am-2 pm
  (Somewhat flexible with days and times)

Compensation: $30 per hour

Primary Responsibilities

• Baby bottle and first foods meal preparation and feeding (experience with starting solids is a plus!)

• Light household tasks relating to the baby, including:

  • Baby’s laundry

  • Baby’s dishes

  • Play area and bedroom clean-up

• Educational playtime and working on developmental milestones

• Occasional driving to baby’s physical therapy appointments (own car preferred)

• Applying feedback and techniques from physical therapy sessions during playtime

• Attending baby classes in the future (such as music class or library programs)

Additional Notes

• Mom will be at home intermittently and will spend time with the baby when available. During these times, or while the baby is sleeping, we would appreciate help with light baby-related household tasks.

• Our home has a pool, so water safety awareness is a plus.

• We have a friendly cat who mostly keeps to himself.
