Job summary

Perdue Farms invites you to join our Live Operations team as a Live Operations Intern. This hands-on internship bridges classroom learning with real-world production experience, offering exposure to the full live operations workflow.

You will shadow multiple departments and contribute to day-to-day activities, tailored to your interests and experience level. You’ll gain practical skills, work with seasoned professionals, and have opportunities for mentorship, workshops, and housing support

Qualifications

Must be enrolled in an accredited four-year institution pursuing a bachelor's degree.
GPA 3.0 or higher.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated leadership and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Understand Live operations functions including production processes and technical skills.
Manage a summer project to improve live performance or address a location need.
Complete weekly assessments to demonstrate learning.
Rotate through hatchery, feed mill, grow-out, breeders and harvest facilities.
Perform roles and responsibilities as needed in the business unit.
Participate in learning events about the company, Agri Stats, and soft skills training.
