Perdue Farms is offering an Operations Intern position designed to bridge classroom learning with hands-on plant operations experience. You will shadow teams across departments, contribute to operational initiatives, and receive mentorship throughout the summer.

The program emphasizes growth, development, and real-world exposure to production management, with housing stipend and opportunities to travel to Perdue locations.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited four-year institution pursuing a bachelor's degree.
• Degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Production Management, Business or related fields.
• 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well within a team setting, as well as independently.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate in a team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Team Leader and Shift Leader with daily tasks and development of subordinates.
• Support production staff to ensure product quality and customer requirements.
• Contribute to maintaining an environment aligned with company policies and procedures.
• Rotate through multiple plant functions during training to gain broad operations exposure.
