Job summary

Perdue Foods invites enrollees in accredited four-year programs to join its Live Operations internship, bridging classroom learning with hands-on experience in poultry production. You’ll shadow multiple departments, contribute to daily operations, and receive mentorship across a summer season.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited four-year college pursuing a bachelor's degree.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops understanding of Live functions including production processes, animal husbandry and technical skills.
• Manage a summer project to improve live performance or address a location-specific need.
• Complete weekly assessments to demonstrate learning; participate in learning events.
