Job summary

Target Hospitality is seeking an On Site Human Resources Business Partner to serve as the dedicated HR partner for an assigned lodge community, living on rotation. This role owns employee relations, investigations, and supervisor coaching, and partners with Talent Acquisition and Operations on staffing, onboarding, and retention.

You will be visible across lodge areas, apply policy and employment law, and build trust with a rotating workforce living on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of progressive HR generalist or HRBP experience supporting an hourly frontline workforce.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and documenting outcomes.
• Knowledge of federal and multi-state employment law, including wage & hour, FMLA, ADA, and EEO requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safety culture and follow SOPs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as on-site HR partner to Lodge Manager and department leaders.
• Be visible across the lodge—including kitchens, housekeeping, front desk, and maintenance.
• Build trust with a rotating workforce living on site.
• Conduct workplace investigations and document findings.
• Advise supervisors on corrective action, performance management, and discipline.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition on site staffing, onboarding, and rotation coverage.
• Support stay interviews, turnover analysis, and retention actions with Operations.
• Interpret and apply employment law; maintain accurate records in HRIS.
• Deliver training on policy, harassment prevention, and people management.
