Job summary

Target Hospitality seeks an On-Site Human Resource Business Partner to live and work with the lodge team on rotation. This role owns employee relations, investigations, and supervisor coaching at the site level, partnering with Talent Acquisition and Operations on staffing, onboarding, and retention.

The position is salaried with a 5 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation, requiring 3+ years as HR generalist/HRBP and the ability to apply policy and employment law on a remote, multi-site workforce across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive HR generalist/HRBP experience supporting hourly frontline workforce.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and documenting outcomes.
• Working knowledge of federal and multi-state employment law (wage & hour, FMLA, ADA, EEO).
• Experience advising supervisors on performance management and corrective action.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with discretion and sound judgment.
• Willingness to live on site and work long rotations away from home.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site HR partner to the Lodge Manager and leadership, guiding people-related matters daily.
• Conduct workplace investigations and document findings and outcomes.
• Advise supervisors on corrective actions, performance management, and disciplinary decisions.
• Mediate conflicts and address employee relations issues in a live-on-site rotation environment.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition on site staffing plans, onboarding, and rotation coverage.
• Interpret and apply company policy and employment law at the site level.
• Track leaves, accommodations, and return-to-work coordination.
• Support compliance with safety, risk, and site data management.
