Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, seeks a dedicated two-person houseparent team to supervise and mentor students aged pre-K through 12. The role includes managing household routines, accompanying students to activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel in a faith-aligned, supportive environment.

Couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses be 27 or older. A U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
• Two-person houseparent team starting 9 days on, 3 days off, transitioning to a placed houseparent.
