Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, routines, mentoring, medications, driving to activities, and leading devotions with Sunday Chapel. Schedule is nine days on, three off, with a future transition to a Placed Houseparent role.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth (≤140 chars).
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years (≤140 chars).
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older (≤140 chars).
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. (≤140 chars).
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students (≤140 chars).
• Manage household routines and student schedules (≤140 chars).
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness (≤140 chars).
• Drive students to activities and plan/develop activities with students (≤140 chars).
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel (≤140 chars).
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting (≤140 chars).
