Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeksFull‑time Flex Houseparents — a two-person marriage-based role to live on campus and supervise 8–13 students in a home setting.

Couples provide care, mentorship, and supervise routines, with duties ranging from devotions to transportation and budgeting. Eligibility includes a high school diploma or GED, two years married, and a valid drivers license.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
• Initial rotation across student homes with eventual placement in a single home.
