Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents for couples. The role provides care, guidance, and supervision to 8–13 students in on-campus homes, fostering academic, emotional, and social development. Training, benefits, and housing are included.

Couples must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, and willing to commit to a structured on-campus living environment with a 9-on/3-off cycle before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
• Initially supporting various student homes with a 9-on / 3-off schedule, then transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role.
