Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents. This two-person, married-couple role places you in on-campus student homes, supervising 8–13 students and guiding their academic, emotional, and social growth.

You will manage daily routines, lead devotions, drive to activities, and coordinate budgets, with a nine days on / three days off cycle. Housing, meals, and comprehensive benefits are included for both spouses.

Qualifications

• Two-person role requires couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to a group of 8–13 students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan development and recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Initially support multiple student homes on a 9-on/3-off schedule; later transition to a placed home.
