Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and support for 8-13 students. The role transitions from nine days on / three off to a placed home with a stable group of students.

Responsibilities include managing routines, supervising wellness, and leading devotions and chapel services, with a comprehensive benefits package and relocation/training support.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
