Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8-13 students, fostering a structured, family-like environment for their academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, routines, transportation, devotional activities, and budgeting, with a nine-on/three-off schedule and a transition to a Placed Houseparent

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for married couples for at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Willingness to lead daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and attend Sunday Chapel with students.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
