Job summary

Maryville University seeks a Residential Life Coordinator to lead on-campus living communities and mentor student staff. You will manage residential operations, develop programming, and partner with campus entities to foster a caring living environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of student development theory and higher education practices.
• Experience with program development and implementation.
• Commitment to diversity and inclusive student support.
• Excellent oral and written communication; supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise graduate and undergraduate staff, including training and evaluation.
• Manage residential areas housing 150–550 residents and coordinate operations.
• Develop programs, advise student groups, and coordinate campus-wide events.
• Assist in crisis intervention and on-call responsibilities.
• Collaborate with campus partners to support student engagement and belonging.
