Job summary

Edconic in San Jose, CA is hiring a Residential Hall Assistant Director for its Pre-College program. This live-in leadership role supports residential life, coordinates staff, and ensures safety and engagement for students during the summer session.

The RHAD supervises check-ins, staff meetings, and program operations, reports to the Residential Hall Director, works with parents/guardians as needed, and upholds Edconic's commitment to high-quality education and student wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Must be CPR certified or be willing to obtain prior to start of program.
• Two references required.

Responsibilities

• Execute work assigned by the RHD.
• Assist in all administrative details including Residential Check-In and Check-Out.
• Staff evaluations.
• Community Building.
• Attend weekly residence life staff meetings led by the RHD.
• Meet with staff who display behavior concerns and document meetings.
• Maintain the PA schedule and manage shift swaps.
• Receive suggestions and resolve or elevate issues from SPAs.
