JCMLiving is seeking a Live-On Site Maintenance Superintendent for the Montclair, NJ community. The role involves upkeep of the apartment community, completing maintenance requests, and ensuring operations run smoothly.

Ideal candidates have knowledge across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair. An on-site apartment is included as part of compensation, with paid time off and holidays offered.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of carpentry, electric, plumbing, drywall, flooring, appliances, windows and locks.
• Responsible for repairs, upkeep and maintenance of the community.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests within apartment community.
• Lifting of appliances, tile work, drywall work, appliance repair and installation, HVAC repairs.
• Snow removal.
• Coordinate and work with contractors and all employees.
• Carpentry, plumbing, light electrical, painting, refurbishing, cleaning, waste removal, heat/AC repair, masonry, grounds keeping, landscaping and sewer maintenance.
• Carry out preventative maintenance program under supervision.
• Be available for emergency repairs and after-hours on-call duty as required.
• Must be capable of driving all company vehicles with valid driver's license.
• Capable of using all maintenance tools.
• Carry out all maintenance duties safely.
