Milton Hershey School (MHS) is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8-13 students.

The role begins with nine days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a placed houseparent. Benefits include salary per person at $46,917, comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, retirement options, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role; married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
