Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) is seeking Full-time Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus student homes, guiding 8–13 students in a family-like setting. The role combines caregiving, supervision, and support to foster academic, emotional, and social growth.

This two-person position requires a legally married couple, both aged 27+, with a high school diploma or GED. Duties include devotions, Chapel attendance, budgeting, and daily student welfare tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. will be needed.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
