Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA seeks full-time Flex Houseparents. This two-person role requires couples who are legally married for at least two years and both partners aged 27 or older.

You will reside in on-campus student homes, guiding 8–13 students and supporting their academic, emotional, and social growth. Responsibilities include supervision, schedule management, wellness checks, and organizing activities.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental and recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
