Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) seeks married couples for Full-time Flex Houseparents to live in on-campus student homes and guide 8–13 students daily. This unique role includes supervising routines, activities, devotions, and budget reporting while providing a caring, structured home environment.

Applicants must be a legally married couple for at least two years, both partners 27+, with a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Relocation support is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Ability to collaborate in a family-like home environment.
• Commitment to student wellbeing and safety.
• Must meet legal driving and certification requirements.
• High school diploma or GED completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational tasks.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
