Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students, with a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth is required or preferred.
• Couples must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan development and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Initially support multiple student homes with a 9-on/3-off schedule; later transition to a placed houseparent with the same group.
• Demonstrate integrity and professionalism as role models for students.
