Milton Hershey School (MHS) seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus homes, supervising 8-13 students and supporting their academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, devotions, and coordinating activities.

Compensation includes housing, benefits, relocation assistance, and training. Two-parent role requires two years of marriage, fitness to lift 50 lbs, and a valid U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role; married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and lead development and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Initial 9 days on duty, then 3 days off; transition to placed houseparent.
