Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents: a married couple living in on-campus student homes to supervise 8-13 students, guiding their academic, emotional, and social growth.

You will follow a nine-on/three-off schedule, with a progression to a placed houseparent role living with your assigned students. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and career-related training.

Qualifications

• Two-person role requires legally married couples for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.
• Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff serve as role models.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
