Emma Willard School in Troy, NY is seeking a Houseparent for a 10-month live-in residential role supporting boarding students. You will supervise 15-30 residents, plan and run residential life programs, and collaborate with health, counseling and student life teams.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to equity and inclusion. Expect evening, weekend duties, and regular parent communications; compensation ranges from $49,950 to $62,050

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in residential life, adolescent education or youth mentoring preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Comfortable using Google Suite and willing to learn LMS systems.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary adult support for 15-30 residential students.
• Plan and deliver residential life programming and Sunday evening activities.
• Maintain student safety and emotional wellbeing; respond to emergencies.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regularly and manage off-campus permissions.
• Coordinate with health center, counseling staff, advisors, and administrators.
• Attend meetings with Student Life leadership and READY teams.
