Emma Willard Schools seeks a Varsity Assistant Basketball Coach for the 2026-27 winter season in Troy, NY. The role reports to the Athletic Director and supports the head coach in developing student-athletes’ basketball skills, discipline, and teamwork.

The position requires CPR/AED and First Aid certification, a valid driving license, and the ability to work afternoons and evenings, including transportation to away games. Training for van driving will be provided.

Formación

• Experience with basketball and coaching.
• Current CPR/AED and First aid certification.
• Valid driving license.
• Ability to work afternoon and nights.
• Ability to drive school vans; training will be provided.

Responsabilidades

• Instruct student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training.
• Provide a foundation for integrity, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Assist in planning and implementing practices.
• Attend all practices and games.
• Assist with stats and game duties.
• Transport team members to away games.
• Represent the School professionally during practices and games.
• Work with the Athletic Trainer on injuries.
• Attend school coaches meetings.
• Assist in writing end of season comments for individuals.
