Carleton College in Northfield, MN is seeking a Dacie Moses House and Program Coordinator. This live-in staff member works with students, alumni, parents, and community members to maintain the house as a welcoming, home-like gathering space.

Responsibilities include supervising house residents and student workers, coordinating programs, managing crises, and liaising with campus offices. The position requires evenings and weekends and offers an hourly rate of $26.50 for a 0.50 FTE schedule.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree and related social experience or community work.
• Must be committed to working with traditional aged college students and others who use the House.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and evaluate House Residents and student workers.
• Supervise two student workers who are residents and about five other student workers.
• Provide ongoing professional development for students (e.g., baking or mindfulness classes).
• Set the tone for the House to honor Dacie Moses' memory and create a welcoming space.
• Manage crises and serve as building liaison; complete reports for the Dean of Students Office.
• Publicize events on campus and to the Northfield community; handle payroll and time entries.
• Coordinate with committees and other Carleton programs to foster collaboration.
