Job summary

Lindenwood University seeks a Residential Community Coordinator to oversee two or more residence halls, serving as a role model and leader in the Residential Life program. This year-round, full-time, live-in role requires primary housing as a condition of employment, with duties outlined in the Housing Policy and related procedures.

Responsibilities include supervising student employees, resolving conflicts, coordinating events, and supporting on-call duty rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education, college personnel administration, psychology, counseling, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in residence life preferred.
• Experience in programming, health and wellness, and/or student conduct preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, and evaluates student employees.
• Understands and manages student conflict.
• Oversees the Residence Hall Association operations within the hall.
• Fosters a community environment and student growth.
• Serves on-call rotation as part of professional staff.
• Leads residential operations and housing duties.
• Manages maintenance and custodial needs for housing areas.
• Assists in crisis intervention and referrals during the academic year and breaks.
• Holds monthly meetings with student employees.
