Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes. You will live with a group of 8–13 students, supervise daily life, mentor and support their academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving to activities, leading devotions, and managing household reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience with youth engagement or mentoring.
• Married couple for at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet restrictions: fish and one approved dog.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive vans.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany Sunday Chapel services.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
