Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, supervision, and guidance for 8–13 students, in a family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social growth.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, routines, medication administration, driving to activities, leading devotions, and budgeting; the role progresses to a placed houseparent with a stable student home.

Qualifications

• This role requires experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person, married couple required for the position.
• Spouses must be 27 years or older and legally married for at least two years.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive student vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and manage household tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental/recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Move from flexible home assignments to a placed houseparent role with a stable group.
