Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this on-campus role, couples provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students in a family-like home, supporting academic, emotional, and social development.

Requirements include a two-year married status, both spouses age 27+, high school diploma or GED, and a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Follow a nine consecutive days on duty, then three days off; transition to a placed houseparent.
