Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus, living in student homes and guiding 8–13 students daily. You will supervise routines, mentor students, provide devotions, and support academic, emotional and social development in a family-like setting.

Requires high school diploma or GED, two years of married experience, 27+ years old, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational events.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
• Starting as nine days on, then transitioning to a placed houseparent with the same students.
