Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking a married couple to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents who will live in on-campus student homes and care for approximately 8-13 students. The role emphasizes mentorship, routines, and guidance to support academic, emotional, and social development.

Couples must be legally married for at least two years, both aged 27 or older, with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couples must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Fully eligible to obtain driver certification for student transport.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational events.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel events.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
