Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus homes and mentor 8–13 students. Responsibilities include guiding daily routines, activities, devotions, and coordinating transportation and schedules.

Candidates must be a legally married couple for at least two years, both aged 27+, with a high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to a safe, alcohol-free campus. Relocation training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27 or older; good driving record required.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; alcohol not permitted during duty.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and oversee student wellness.
• Plan activities and lead devotions and Sunday chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Transition from Flex Houseparent to Placed Houseparent with same group.
