Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, budgeting, coordinating routines, driving, planning activities, and leading daily devotions with students. The initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and driving certification ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Lead activities and devotions; supervise Chapel attendance.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Initial nine days on duty, then three days off; transition to Placed Houseparent.
