Job summary

Milton Hershey School on its Hershey, PA campus is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live in on-campus student homes, supervising 8–13 students and creating a structured, family-like setting to support academic, emotional, and social growth.

Employment is full-time with nine days on, then three days off, and pathways to long-term placements. The role requires two-year married status, both spouses 27+, a high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to a smoke-free,

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth or volunteers in youth-focused settings.
• Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Comfort leading daily devotions and participating in Sunday Chapel.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental/recreational planning.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Chapel services.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
