Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks two-person Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus student homes and supervise a group of 8–13 students. You will provide guidance, supervision, and care to support academic, emotional, and social growth.

The role requires a married couple (two years, both aged 27+), responsibility for daily routines, and a commitment to a smoke-free campus. Housing, meals on duty, and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-spouse role, married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreational activities with students.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
