Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks a full-time Flex Houseparent couple to reside in on-campus homes and oversee a group of 8–13 students, guiding their academic, emotional, and social development.

The two-person role requires marriage of at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus. Responsibilities include supervision, routines, activities, and devotions.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan/develop activities with students.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
