Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents for married couples. The role is on-campus, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of 8–13 students.

Schedule begins with nine days on duty, then three off, with transition to a placed houseparent role living with the same students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, medication management, and leading devotions, with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff are role models.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive and engage in development and recreational activities with students.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
