Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live in on-campus student homes, supervise 8-13 students, and support their academic, emotional, and social development.

The role follows a 9-on/3-off cycle, with transition to a placed houseparent. Benefits include salary of $46,917 per person plus free housing, meals, utilities, and comprehensive medical, dental, and retirement options.

Formación

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Two-spouse role married for at least two years
• Both spouses aged 27 or older
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff serve as role models for students

Responsabilidades

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmentally appropriate activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
