Job summary

Milton Hershey School is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus in Hershey, PA. Couples live in student homes and guide a group of 8–13 students, providing supervision, mentorship, and structured routines.

The role begins with nine days on, three days off, with potential transition to a placed houseparent. Compensation includes housing, meals on duty, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Married couples only; at least two years of marriage.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in home.
• Valid U.S. driver\'s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
