Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, invites dedicated couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents. You will live in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, and supervision to a group of 8–13 students, supporting academic, emotional, and social development.

Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and be 27+, with a valid U.S. driver’s license. The role includes developing daily routines, meals, activities, and chapel involvement.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and obtain driver certification for vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for a group of 8–13 students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
