Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking a dedicated couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus. You will provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of 8-13 students in a family-like home environment.

This two-person role requires both spouses to be married for at least two years and 27+ years old, with responsibilities including mentorship, routines, devotions, and budgeting. Housing, meals, and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Support a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet restrictions: fish and one dog allowed.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; ability to certify to drive student vans.
• Ability to lead daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
