Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks a Full-time Flex Houseparents couple to reside on campus and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8-13 students.

As a two-person role, both spouses must be married at least two years, age 27+, and ready to lead devotions, supervise routines, drive to activities, and manage household duties. Competitive benefits and structured schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: only fish and one allowed dog.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff serve as role models.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
