Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus homes, supervising 8-13 students, coordinating routines, and guiding development. This permanent role starts with nine days on, three off, then placement in a stable student home.

Responsibilities include supervising, mentoring, and transportation planning; devotions and Sunday Chapel; budgeting and reporting. Requires two-year married status and willingness to live on campus.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Campus is smoke-free and weapon-free; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and camper van certification ability.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational events.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
