Job summary

Milton Hershey School seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes. The role involves living with a group of 8–13 students, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support to foster academic, emotional, and social growth.

Initial duties cover nine days on, three off, with transitions to a placed role serving the same student group. Benefits include housing, meals on duty, and comprehensive insurance and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couples must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Must have valid U.S. driver’s license and be able to drive student vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and attend Sunday Chapel with students.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
