Job summary

Milton Hershey School is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students.

The role begins on a nine-on / three-off cycle with progression to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Compensation includes a substantial salary per person (~$46,917) plus free housing and meals on duty, comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities, and planning developmental and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
