Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, mentorship, and supervision for 8–13 students, and help create a family-like, structured environment that supports academic, emotional, and social growth.

Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, coordinating schedules, and leading devotions, with a pathway to a Placed Houseparent role.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental/recreational planning.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and prepare household reporting.
