Job summary

Ecco Living Pty in Los Angeles is seeking a live-in Community Manager to oversee operations at our coliving properties. You will live in one unit at a discounted rent, serve as the primary onsite contact for residents, and manage day-to-day leasing, moves, and maintenance.

The ideal candidate is organized, has strong communication skills, and thrives in a people-focused, hands-on role. You will report to leadership and ensure a welcoming, well-run community environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in property management or related resident-facing role.
• Ability to live onsite in coliving units is required.
• Experience directing vendors and junior staff is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite manager and first contact for residents.
• Conduct tours, screen prospects, prepare leases, and drive occupancy.
• Manage move-ins/move-outs including inspections and deposits.
• Handle resident relations and enforce house rules with fairness.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and elevate major repairs.
• Direct and quality-check vendors and supervise porters/technicians.
• Walk properties, report safety and maintenance issues, and document properly.
• Report rent payments and delinquencies with the accounting team.
• Organize occasional community events and keep common areas welcoming.
• Maintain records in the property management system and submit reports.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as the onsite manager.
